Everyday Drive Less Pay Less Insurance

Everyday Drive Less Pay Less is designed specifically for cars that are driven 15,000km per year or less. It offers all the benefits of Comprehensive insurance, but you only pay for the kilometres you plan to drive.

A simple clear choice with all options clearly listed. I’ve used this insurance platform for 5 years and now have 4 of our 5 vehicles insured by Everyday [Insurance]. In addition, the extra benefits, especially the 10% off [an in-store Woolworths shop] monthly and the “drive less/pay-less” are extremely welcome.

Why our customers picked Everyday Car Insurance

Was very easy to sign up with. Very competitive in pricing compared to other insurers hence why I switched. Getting 10% off [an in-store Woolworths shop] once a month helps since food costs are now so high and the drive less pay less feature is great as I am one of those people who doesn’t travel far in my car per year.

Amy, March 2024

Easy to get a quote. Simple to sign up. Drive less pay less was exactly what I needed.

Frequently asked questions

Am I eligible for Everyday Drive Less Pay Less?

When you get a quote for Drive Less Pay Less cover, we'll ask you how many kilometres on average you drive each year. If you don’t drive much, we’ll offer you this cover option – so you’re only paying for the kilometres you plan to use.

What is the Drive Less Pay Less cover?

Drive Less Pay Less is designed specifically for cars that are driven 15,000km per year or less, it offers all the benefits of Comprehensive insurance, but you only pay for the kilometres you plan to drive.

Here's a summary of how it works:

At the time of a claim, if your car's odometer reading at the time of the incident is more than your Start Odometer reading and less than the End Odometer reading shown of your Certificate of Insurance, you get the same cover as you would with our Comprehensive insurance. If not, you still have the same cover, except you also pay the Outside Odometer excess ($1000). This is in addition to any other excesses which apply to the claim.

In some cases, no excess is payable. At each renewal, we increase your End Odometer reading by the number of kilometres you told us you planned to drive each year. You can also ask us adjust your End Odometer reading at any time. However, your end odometer reading cannot be more than 15,000km higher than your Start Odometer reading (for new policies) or your End Odometer reading immediately before your last renewal (for renewed policies).

To increase your End Odometer reading, login to My Insurance Portal, click on ‘View Policy details’, and click on ‘Need more kms?' or give us a call on 1300 641 327 during our operating hours.

See our PDS for more details.

How do I renew my Car Insurance policy?

If we offer renewal, the policy will automatically renew as per the renewal notice. We will send you this renewal notice at least 14 days before your renewal date which will outline what you need to do to stay covered. You should check your renewal notice carefully and contact us on 1300 10 1234 if you need to make any changes to your policy or details, or if you'd like to opt out of automatic renewal.

With automatic renewal, your renewal notice will set out the proposed new policy terms and premium. If no changes are required to your policy and your premium payments are up to date, you don’t need to do anything – your policy will automatically renew.

If you opted out of automatic renewal, your renewal notice will advise you to call to continue your cover. We will provide you with a quote and policy terms. If you’re happy to proceed, we will renew your policy.

To find out more about your renewal dates, you can Chat Now.
